"My mother came to The Lawns once a week for a bath and hair wash. The manager ensured that everyone involved with this was aware of her particular physical problems so that, despite her anxieties, my mother enjoyed the whole experience. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the lovely lounge afterwards, sipping tea whilst watching the fish swim round the pool in the courtyard garden (a really lovely feature). All the staff we met were friendly and caring and looked after my mum very well."

"My mother has resided in Summerdyne since June 2023. The family were unsure if she would settle, but she is very happy. Mum is well cared for and enjoys the company of all the staff. Family and friends visit frequently and all are made welcome. There is never an inconvenient time to call and I can go at any time to see Mum. All rooms are clean, tidy and you are made to feel at home."

"My husband was cared for in Newstead House in Hereford for nearly a year before he passed away at the end of August 2023. The love and care he received at this nursing home was excellent. All of the staff, especially the nurses and carers, showed him so much love and cared for him so well. They also treated me and all of his family with care and nothing was too much trouble for them. I will be eternally grateful to everyone there."

"Abberton Manor Nursing Home is like a home from home where you very quickly sink into the ambience which is like a "warm blanket on a cold day". The bedrooms with bathrooms are so comfortable but the best feature of Abberton Manor, without a doubt, is the staff who I would describe as friendly and caring. Care homes, by their nature, are expensive but Abberton Manor stands "head and shoulders" above the norm. Very well done!"

"Dad is happily settled in, he has some of his personal furniture, pictures and photos now in his room. The room is a good size, lovely and quiet. The care and attention he receives are very good and the staff always are more than happy to help/advise us. He has a named carer whom I speak to regularly and who is always helpful. The management team are very approachable and friendly too.
The food always smells lovely and Dad eats very well.."
